IB MTS Vacancy 2025 – Category-Wise & SIB-Wise Vacancies
The IB has announced 362 vacancies distributed across multiple SIBs. Some major vacancy clusters include:

PwBD and Ex-servicemen vacancies will be filled on a centralized merit basis irrespective of SIB preference.
IB MTS Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification
- Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Domicile certificate of the state for which the candidate is applying (as on 14.12.2025).
Age Limit
- 18 to 25 years as on 14 December 2025.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwBD: 10 to 15 years (as per category)
- Departmental candidates: Up to 40 years
- Widows/divorced women: Up to 35–40 years
- Ex-servicemen: As per Govt. rules
- Meritorious sportspersons: +5 years
IB MTS Salary 2025
- Pay Level-1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900
- Special Security Allowance (SSA): 20% of basic pay
- Cash compensation for holiday duty up to 30 days

IB MTS Selection Process 2025
The recruitment will take place in two stages:
1. Tier-I (Online Objective Test)
100 marks | 1 hour | MCQ-type

Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II at 10 times the number of vacancies, depending on performance and normalization.
2. Tier-II (Descriptive Test)
50 marks | 1 hour
The test includes:
- English comprehension
- Grammar and vocabulary
- Paragraph writing (150 words)
Qualifying Marks: 20
(Tier-II marks will not be added to final merit.)
Final Merit List
Final selection will be based on:
- Tier-I marks
- Qualification of Tier-II
- Document verification
- Character & antecedent verification
- Medical examination
IB MTS Exam Centres 2025
Candidates must select five exam cities from a wide list of centres across all states and UTs including:
Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bhopal, Patna, Bengaluru, Guwahati, Chandigarh, and many more.
IB may shift candidates to nearby cities based on availability.
Service Liability
