Reservation Note:

Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility criteria:
Option 1:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute
OR - Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
- Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
Option 2:
- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife
- Two years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after completing course, result declaration, and registration
Age Limit (As on 16 March 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- PwBD – 10/13/15 years (as applicable)
- Ex-Servicemen & Central Government Employees – As per rules
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive:
- Pay Level-07 in Pay Matrix
- Pre-revised Pay Band-2: ₹9300-34800
- Grade Pay: ₹4600
- Additional allowances as applicable to Central Government employees

Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in two stages:
Stage I: NORCET Preliminary (Qualifying)
- 100 MCQs
- 90 minutes duration
- Qualifying in nature
Stage II: NORCET Mains (Merit-Based)
- 160 MCQs
- 180 minutes duration
- Final merit prepared based on this stage
Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer in both stages.
After clearing Stage II:

- Medical Examination (for PwBD candidates)
