Reservation Details
Reservation is provided in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Government Servants Rules and the amendments applicable for differently-abled candidates, Ex-servicemen, and Tamil medium candidates. Some key points include:
- Backward Class Muslims (BCM) have 3.5% reservation within the 30% BC quota.
- Differently Abled Candidates: 4% of posts are reserved. Certificates must be obtained from the Medical Board of a Government Medical College. Disabilities considered include Locomotor, Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Muscular Dystrophy, Acid Attack victims, and Specific Learning Disabilities.
- PSTM Candidates: Eligible if they have studied through Tamil medium for the prescribed educational qualification.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized university or an institution approved by the Medical Council of India.
- Applicants should be officially registered as practitioners as per the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
- Minimum 12 months House Surgeon (CRRI) experience.
- Registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before 21st November 2025.
- Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must provide proof.
Tamil Eligibility Test: All candidates must pass a Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard) with at least 40% marks. Marks in this test do not contribute to the ranking for selection.
Scheme of Examination
The recruitment will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 100 objective-type questions based on Undergraduate-level Medical Sciences.
