Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Educational qualifications vary according to the post:

  • 10th Pass: Hospital Attendant, Mortuary Attendant, Multi-tasking roles
  • 12th Pass: Lab Assistant, Radiology Technician, Assistant roles
  • Diploma Holders: Engineering fields, technical technician posts
  • Graduates: Administrative positions, Physiotherapist, Optometrist, Medical Social Worker, Programmer, etc.
  • Professional Degrees:
    • B.Sc Nursing/GNM for Nursing posts
    • B.Tech for engineering roles
    • B.Pharm, BPT, BOT for specialized healthcare fields
  • Postgraduates: M.Sc, M.Tech, MPT, etc., for higher-level specialist posts

All qualifications must be completed on or before 02 December 2025.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: Generally 25–40 years (depends on post)

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
  • Central Govt Employees (Group C): Up to 40 years (UR), 43 (OBC), 45 (SC/ST)

Salary Scale

All AIIMS CRE posts are governed by the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC).

Group C Posts:

Pay Level 1 to 6
Approx Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 per month

Group B Posts:

Pay Level 6 to 8
Approx Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹78,800 per month

Selection Process

The AIIMS CRE 2025 selection process consists of:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Total Questions: 100 MCQs
  • Total Marks: 400
  • Negative Marking: 0.25
  • 20 MCQs from General Knowledge, Aptitude, Computer
  • 80 MCQs from domain-specific subjects
  • Exam divided into 5 sections (20 questions each)
  • 18-minute time limit per section
  • Cannot return to a previous section once submitted

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • UR/EWS: 40%
  • OBC: 35%
  • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%

2. Skill Test (If Applicable)

Skill Tests depend on the post and are qualifying in nature. These include:

  • Typing Test
  • Stenography
  • Programming Test
  • PST/PET (for security-related posts)
  • Translation Test
  • Technical Skill Test

Only candidates who pass the skill test proceed further.

3. Document Verification

Candidates must present:
