Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the RRB NTPC Graduate 2025 posts, candidates must ensure that they meet all eligibility conditions related to age, education, and medical fitness as per the official guidelines.
1. Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 intending to settle permanently, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, etc., with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
Candidates belonging to categories other than Indian citizens must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

3. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution as of 20 November 2025 (closing date of application).
- Those awaiting final exam results should not apply.
- The educational certificates or mark sheets must clearly mention the date of issue or declaration of the result.

Selection Process
The selection process for RRB NTPC Graduate 2025 includes multiple stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) – Screening Test
- Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions.
- Subjects: General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.
- Negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.

Reservation Policy
The recruitment process follows the Government of India’s reservation norms:
- Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will get reservation benefits as per rules.
- OBC candidates must have an updated OBC-NCL certificate issued on or after 01 April 2025.
- Candidates applying under EWS must have a valid Income & Asset Certificate for the financial year 2024–25.
- Economically Backward Class (EBC), EWS, and OBC are separate categories and should not be confused.
