Reservation: The vacancies include reserved categories as per government rules (SC, ST, OBC, EWS). There is a 4% horizontal reservation for PwBD (Divyang) candidates and 3% for Ex-Servicemen & their wards.
Eligibility Criteria
A. Age Limit (as on 16-10-2025):
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- PwBD (Divyang) Candidates: 10 years
B. Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed 10th class (High School) or its equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- You must have completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from any recognized training institute.
- Crucial Point: The candidate must have already passed both qualifications on or before the notification date (16th October 2025).
Stipend (Pay Scale:)
- Selected candidates will be paid a monthly stipend during their apprenticeship training as per the prescribed rates under the Apprentices Act and rules. The exact amount will be as per extant government instructions.

Selection Process
The selection will be made on the basis of merit.
- Merit List Calculation: The merit list will be prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained in both the Matriculation (10th) examination and the ITI examination.
- *Formula: (10th % + ITI %) / 2*
- Choice Filling: Candidates can apply for more than one unit/workshop. The allotment will be based on the candidate’s merit and the choices they filled in during the application.
- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will be called for Document Verification at Gorakhpur. They must bring all original certificates for verification.
