Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on the date of interview)
- Candidates should not exceed 45 years of age as on 06 November 2025.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess qualifications in accordance with the latest guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI).
- The applicant should have a Post Graduate (PG) Degree or Diploma in the relevant specialty from a recognized university.
- For ICU departments, if no PG-qualified candidates are available, MBBS graduates with at least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in the concerned specialty in a government or recognized private hospital, may be considered for Non-PG Senior Resident positions.
Special Eligibility for Super Specialty Departments
If candidates with Super Specialty (MCh, DM, DrNB, FNB) qualifications are unavailable, Senior Residents from the parent broad specialty may be considered as per the following eligibility:

Remuneration and Benefits
- Pay Level: Level 11 of 7th CPC
- Basic Pay: ₹67,700 per month
- Allowances: Applicable DA, HRA (if accommodation not provided), and other admissible benefits as per ESIC Headquarters’ Office Memorandum No. Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08.12.2022.
For Non-PG Residents appointed against Senior Resident posts, the remuneration will be equivalent to Level 10 of the 7th CPC along with applicable allowances.
Tenure and Contract Terms
- The contract will be for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years, based on performance, conduct, and institutional needs.
- The tenure will automatically terminate upon the appointment or joining of a bonded Senior Resident for the same post.
- The competent authority reserves the right to terminate services at any time without prior notice in the public interest.
- Senior Residents wishing to resign must provide one month’s notice or deposit an equivalent amount of salary.
- Contract appointees will not be entitled to service benefits such as PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance, or seniority.
- Hostel accommodation or quarters may be provided, subject to availability. Candidates availing accommodation will not be eligible for HRA.
- Absence from duty exceeding 7 days without approval will be considered as voluntary abandonment, leading to automatic termination.
- Daily attendance through the Aadhaar-enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) is mandatory.

- Selected candidates will need to submit a Demand Draft of ₹20,000 made payable to “ESI Fund A/c No. 1” at Faridabad when they join.

- If a candidate resigns within six months of joining, the deposit will be forfeited, except under unavoidable circumstances.

How to Apply
Step 1: Prepare the Offline Application
Candidates must download and fill out the offline application form (attached with the advertisement). The completed form, along with self-attested copies of required documents, must be brought to the document verification on the day of the interview.
Step 2: Document Verification and Interview
- Only candidates whose documents are verified by the committee will be allowed to attend the interview.
- The document verification and interview will take place on 06 November 2025, between 9 AM to 10 AM.
Step 3: Applying for Multiple Posts
- Candidates can apply for more than one post if eligible for each.
- A separate application form and fee must be submitted for each post.
Step 4: Cut-Off Date
- The date of the walk-in interview will serve as the cut-off date for determining age, qualification, and eligibility criteria.

Candidates must bring originals and self-attested copies of the following documents:
- Class 10th certificate (for proof of date of birth)
- MBBS marksheets, attempt certificate, and degree
- MD/MS/DNB marksheets, attempt certificate, and degree
- Valid caste certificate (EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD), in Central Government format
- Updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council)
- Experience certificate(s)

Candidates failing to produce any of the above-mentioned documents will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
Selection Procedure
- Selection will be made based on the candidate’s academic qualifications and performance during the interview, conducted by a duly constituted selection board.
- The result will be published on the official website of ESIC under the “Recruitments” section.
- The offer of appointment will be sent via email only to the selected candidates.
- Candidates must join within the timeline mentioned in the appointment offer.
Reservation Policy
- Reservation will be implemented as per the Government of India norms.
- In case of unavailability of a reserved category candidate for a specific advertised post, meritorious candidates may be considered for a 39-day engagement at the discretion of the appointing authority.
- Candidates under PwD quota will be adjusted against the respective category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS).
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates should ensure they meet all eligibility conditions before attending the walk-in interview.
- Candidates must report between 9 AM and 10 AM for document verification on 06 November 2025.
- EWS certificate should be in the prescribed format as per the Government of India’s DoPT OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be issued within one year of the cut-off date and in the prescribed Central Government format.
