traditional Chinese medicine and teas, most notably for organ
detoxification and for skin inflammation reduction. It is to this end,

account for its medical help for the liver and digestive system, are the
compounds sesquiterpene lactones of the eudesmanolide and
germacranolide types. These substances in dandelion root and leaves play
a part in stimulating the digestive system and act as antioxidants to
combat cell and tissue damage. Documented medical research indicates
that dandelion roots and leaves, might be probiotic in nature and help
promote a healthy growth of gut bacteria, thus working towards healthy
functioning of the natural bacteria present in the gastrointestinal
tract.
